I installed this in my southern californian home. It took me less than a week, working in the evening. I installed about 950 sq ft. It was easy to do and the results have been great. I had very little waste. I just used simple hand tools, a table saw and a miter saw.
It is easy to clean, easy to maintain, and resists my dog's long nails very well. After 6 mos, I am still very happy with the results.

Speaking of the St. James Collection, Embassy Mahogany, 12MM laminate flooring -It is definatly a floor people will notice and LOVE! It's a remarkable product that I would recommend to anyone and everyone! I replaced my 7MM Laminate(different brand) with this product and for the slight cost increase, it was well worth it!!! And it was just as easy to install. The transitions and moldings can be tricky to install though, as with any floor really. Overall, I am thrilled with the exceptional product and the excellent service Lumber Liquidators provided me! Both are HIGHLY recommended!

There was too much of a difference between the new laminate floor (higher)than the adjacent carpet floor. The reducer would not insert in the track. I had to add a wood spacer and it would have been nice to have the manufacturer anticipate this and include a spacer.
