I installed Braz Cherry stair noses on the steps going from the kithen to the bonus room over the garage. Looks great. Matches the same flooring installed earlier in kitchen. Product looks great. Very consistant quality. Makes clean cuts at corners.

We are in our 70's, me late and she early. We installed the floor and stairs by ourselves. The product was uniformly perfect so that the installation looked professional when completed. It has been a long time since we enjoyed completeing a project so much. Every day we look at the floor and say...........did we do that?

This is a must if you are doing stairs in wood. The bullnose gives a good finished look and is easy enough to use. One piece will do two steps for most stairways under 3' wide. I would glue it along with face nailing to hold it solid.

I had a friend help install my 5 inch plank cherry floor--and just can't stop looking at it. Two women have been in my house and both said: "I want that floor." At night, under the lights, the cherry has a delightful reddish glow. It's great during the day, too, but at night it's marvelous. I bought 43 boxes plus 13 stair treads and risers--and ended up with about 5 left-over boxes--so, we put it on the walls of my home office, at an angle. The only problem is that now I have to re-do the rest of my walls in order to bring them up to the exquisite quality of the floor. I'm so happy, too, that I got the 5 inch planks--the grain seems especially bold and distinctive. Everyone loves them.

We had brazilian cherry pre-finished floors installed two years ago through Lumber Liquidations. The sales people were wonderful to work with and they told us exactly what to do and expect. We love our floors but did not have the steps done at the time (mistake). Recently we had the steps done. They are quiet, beautiful, and safer. [...]

You have to take the nose of the original stair off to use. I recommend using a hand saw to cut each end of stairs and then use a chisel and hammer to cut it flush with stair riser.

The stair nose worked out perfectly for the application I needed it for.
I now have approximately 70 boxes of 3/4 Brazilian Cherry installed in my home and it looks great.

The last piece of stair nose was good.
However, my first order for over 1000sq was excellent, foam padding between the boards.etc.
My second order for about 500sq. ft. had no padding between the boards. One against the other in each box. I mixed the boxes before installation which turned out to be a mistake. It appears that one box must have been milled incorrectly. Bad edges,boards did not pull up tight. Took a lot of time to sort and redo. I used part of it in closets. Boards in the other boxes has some scratches and small nicks. I probably lost about one box of wood.
The wood floors are beautiful.
