The flooring is beautiful. I used it for my dining/kitchen combination. I let it acclimate to my house for over a month and then installed it over the course of a few days. The character of the wood is dramatic and has some knots which is what I was looking for. I even sanded down some of the flooring; tung oiled it and and made a section of counter top for the kitchen.
