QSRO2S - Quartersawn 3/4" x 2-1/4" Red Oak Unfinished SelectQuarter sawnTo make quarter sawn flooring, the log is first cut in quarters and then sawn perpendicular to the growth rings. Remodel of 750 sf kitchen in 100+ yr home. Includes kitchen area with island, eating area, laundry, and 3 teenagers. All other house floors are original qtr-sawn red oak. This has a little less graining than original floors - but I love it! I had it professionally installed and they were amazed at the quality of the flooring.

Had to rent a blind nailer to install. otherwise easy enough. Best finished with a pentrating sealer. Bought it for my old house resto and it looks great.
