we bought this floor at a discount because boxes were damaged. It's a beautiful floor, but was EXTREMELY hard for my hubby to install. wouldn't click together w/out sliding out or when would click together, there were gaps and it had to be redone. I would have been very dissappointed had we spent the full price on this floor.

Installed 400 square feet in living room and hallway. Tricky to install just because it moves around on you. Just make sure the first row is perfectly straight or gaps will show up in rows 3 or 4 and you have to start over. Doesn't suggest glue, but some of the boards didn't click together so well, so glue was necessary. All in all looks good, but I like the glue down brazilian cherry 3" that I put in my office much better. Transitions are difficult with floating.

Just installed, dont know how it will wear. Beautiful looking floor. Used quietmuffler underlayment and this floor sounds and feels great. Very smooth finish only a few of the end connecting pieces are raised a little hoping they will settle with age. The variety of color and floor pieces looks realistic and solid. Glad we opened the boxes and varied the colors.
